Irma Zamora

Irma P. Zamora, 57, went to be with the Lord on August 18, 2018 in Kingsville, Texas. Irma was born on November 5, 1960 in Kingsville, Texas to Enrique H. Perez and Maria Tejeda Perez. She graduated from Texas A&M in 2000 and last year received her master's in teaching and teacher leadership. Irma taught 25 years in various local schools including; Robstown, Riviera, Sarita and Premont. She loved teaching, gardening, and listening to birds, most of all she loved her family, husband, children and grandkids, who will all miss her dearly.
She is preceded into death by her parents, Enrique H. and Maria Perez, and two brothers, Hector and Homer Perez.
Irma is survived by her husband of 25 years, Homer Zamora, one daughter, Sara Zamora, two sons; Jacob (Kelly) Lopez, and Mike Zamora, two grandchildren; Sophia and Ellie Lopez, six sisters; Josie (Art) Villareal, Imelda (Rodolfo) Silguero, Tina (Martin) Mendietta, Yolanda (Jaime) Deleon, Norma Perez, and Lupita Robles, one brother, Henry (Janie) Perez.
Visitation will be held at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A funeral mass will be recited at St. Martin Catholic Church on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Santa Gertrudis Cemetery.
