Harold Roger "Bob" Clark, born November 4, 1931, to Harold Rolf Clark and Verda Agnes Ousley in Claremore, Oklahoma. He passed away peacefully on April 7, 2026. A devoted family man, a proud veteran, and a cherished friend, Bob’s life was marked by service, creativity, and a warm spirit that touched many.
Bob served honorably in the United States Navy aboard the USS Power DD839 from March 1951 to March 1955. Following his military service, he dedicated many years to protecting others as a firefighter at Naval Air Station Kingsville, where he served until his retirement in 2003. His commitment and bravery were a testament to his character and the deep sense of duty he carried throughout his life.
Beyond his professional life, Bob was a man of many passions. He enjoyed painting, engaging in various hobbies, sharing jokes, traveling, and listening to music. These pursuits brought joy not only to him but to those fortunate enough to share in them.
Bob is survived by his son, Timothy N. Clark, and his daughter, Cynthia L. (Tim) Clark Strubhart. He also leaves behind four grandchildren: Tabitha K. (Jason) Clark Meurer, Seth L. Strubhart, Colton P. Strubhart, Sarah N. Sourjah, and an extended family of great-grandchildren, including Anberlein M. Clark, Anastasia F. Dryer, and Link E. Meurer. His family also includes numerous nieces, nephews, and extended loved ones who will carry forward his legacy.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marie M. Clark, and his daughter, Susan J. Clark Sourjah.
Harold Roger "Bob" Clark will be remembered with great respect and affection by all who knew him. His contributions to his family, community, and country stand as a lasting tribute to his remarkable life.
