Graciela Orta Manning, born February 3, 1960, passed away on June 17, 2026, at the age of 66, surrounded by her loved ones. She was a gentle, caring, and kind-hearted person whose warmth touched the lives of everyone who knew her.
She earned an associate's degree in business and accounting, a reflection of her dedication and determination. Graciela had a wonderful sense of humor and a smile that could brighten any room. She loved fishing, cooking, spending time with her family, and enjoying games of bingo and Keno, creating countless cherished memories. Her loving spirit, laughter, and ability to make others feel welcome will be deeply missed.
She is preceded in death by her father, Jose Maria Orta.
She is survived by her mother, Celia Diaz; her daughter, JoAnn Salinas (Billy Rau); her son, Roger Manning Jr. (Renee Manning); her brother, Enrique Orta; her sisters, Gloria Trevino, Esperanza Orta Dosamantes, Maricela Alegria, Amalia Chavana, Amelia Orta, and Rosario Orta; brother Martin Rojas, Granddaughters Samantha Mata, Kaitlin Manning, Amanda Gonzalez, and grandsons Michael Manning, Jayden Crawford, and Colton Weaver, and great-grandchildren Bryce, Lilly, Audrey, Lucas, and Charlotte, as well as numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
A visitation to honor her life will be held on Friday, June 19th, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Turcotte-Piper Funeral Home, with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Martin's Church on Saturday at 10:00 a.m., followed by a gathering at her favorite restaurant.
Her strength, perseverance, and unwavering love for her family and friends will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who knew her. The joy, kindness, and warmth she shared so freely will remain a treasured part of the memories she leaves behind.
