Gonzalo Pena Iii

Gonzalo Pena III, age 41, passed away on September 27, 2020 in New Orleans. He was born on August 4, 1979 to Gonzalo Pena Jr. and Margarita Longoria Puente . He was a beloved husband, loving father, and caring individual. A man of his faith who touched many lives with his generosity and compassion for others. His life motto was, “If God is for me, who could be against me” (Romans 8:31). He will be greatly missed and loved forever and always.

He is preceded in death by his father, Gonzalo Pena, Jr.; paternal grandfather, Gonzalo Pena; paternal grandmother, Frances Pena; maternal grandmother, Viola Longoria.

Gonzalo is survived by his wife, Danielle Pena; sons, Gavin Pena, Jaden Pena, Kyzer Pena, Kalum Pena; mother, Margarita (Tommy) Puente; sisters, Jena (Tony) Sauceda, Laura (Jamie) Mendietta; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 am, Sunday, October 4, 2020 at Turcotte – Piper Mortuary with a Chapel Service to follow that same evening at 7:00 pm.

Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
