Gloria Cavazos

Gloria Reyes Cavazos, 70, quietly passed away January 29, 2019 in a local hospital of a sudden Illness. She was born on September 9, 1948 to Pedro and Maria Reyes in Kingsville, Texas. Gloria was married to Cesario P. Cavazos Sr. for 40 years until his death.
Gloria will be remembered for her kind and generous ways to her family and strangers. She loved being around family and friends. She was a strong woman providing care for her siblings and showing her courage of survival for her and her family. She was a devoted Christian.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Ernie) Castaneda of Kingsville, Texas, three sons, Victor Cavazos of Houston, Texas, Cesario (Lacy) Cavazos III of Kingsville, Texas, and Augustine Cavazos of Florida, three brothers, Pedro Reyes Jr. (Imelda), Sam Reyes, and Johnny Reyes all of Kingsville, several grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 3, 2019 with memorial service to follow at 6p.m. at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Services to conclude right after.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd. Kingsville, Texas 78363.
