Gilberto Gonzales

Gilberto Salinas Gonzales, 93, passed away on May 21, 2019 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born on November 28, 1925 in Kingsville, Texas to Ricardo Gonzales and Manuella Salinas.
He is preceded in death by both his parents; his wife, Maria G. Gonzales; daughter, Paloma Gonzales; two grandchildren; and one sister, Ofilia Gutierrez.
He is survived by seven children, Gilbert Gonzales II (Eva), Magdalena Gonzales, Ruben (Estella) Gonzales, Onofre Gonzales, Sarah (Brian) Snider, Annie (Brett) Rider, Lydia (George) Bustamante; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Ricardo Salinas Gonzales; and one sister, Cristela Luera.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 31, 2019 with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. that same evening at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Interment will follow at Santa Gertrudis Cemetery.
