George Perez

George Perez, 88, passed away on November 14, 2022. He was born on February 22, 1934, to Luis and Elena Perez. He retired from Sears after 35 years of service. After retirement he became self-employed with Perez Service and Repair. He was an Avid hunter, fisherman, Dallas Cowboy fan, and Javelina supporter.

He is preceded in death by his two brothers and two sisters.

Among those left cherish his memory are his wife of 65 years, Eva Perez; children, Cynthia (Rod) Lamas, Melva (Jimmy) Smith, Belinda Mendietta, George (Brenda) Perez, Jr., and Lori Ann (Bryan Skaggs) Perez; brothers, Enrique (Yolanda) Perez, Ramondo (Alma) Perez, Louis (Isaura) Perez; sisters, Yolanda (Oscar) Escobar, Viola (Gilbert) Martinez; grandchildren, Anthony (Christina) Rodriguez, Omar (Victoria) Rodriguez, Marrisa (Randy Hescheid) Perez, Emily Perez, Hannah, Hayley, and Adrian Rodriguez, Jasmine, Cruz, and Angelique Rodriguez; great granddaughter, Kylie Perez.

Pallbearers will be Armando (Mando) Lopez, Jr., David Perez, Edwardo Perez, A.B. Perez, Gilbert Sanchez, and Anthony Rodriguez.

Visitation will be on Friday, November 18, 2022, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a rosary at 7:00 PM at Turcotte Piper Mortuary. A funeral mass will be on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at 10:00 AM at St. Martin Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Chamberlain Cemetery.
