George Monroe

George Edward Monroe passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021, at the age of 83.  George was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend.  He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War Era and retired after 30 years of service to his country.  George will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Among those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Delia Monroe; sons, John Monroe and Sam (Jessica) Monroe; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family will receive condolences on Monday, August 30, 2021, at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM; with military honors at 6:30 PM and a holy rosary to be recited at 7:00PM.  Services will conclude that evening.
