Francisco "Pancho" Garza

Francisco "Pancho" Garza, passed away on November 26, 2023, in Kingsville, Texas, at the age of 74. He was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Pancho's life was filled with passion, dedication, and an unwavering love for his family.  Born on April 4, 1950, Pancho grew up in a small town where he developed a deep appreciation for hard work and the simple pleasures of life. His career spanned over two decades at the King Ranch, where he worked cooking for the cowboys at camp. Pancho's commitment to his work was evident in every task he undertook. His dedication and knowledge made him an indispensable part of the team.

While Pancho's professional accomplishments were admirable, it was his role as a family man that truly defined him. He adored his family and valued spending quality time with them above all else. His grandchildren held a special place in his heart, and nothing brought him greater joy than seeing their smiles light up a room. Whether it was gathering around the dinner table or embarking on memorable adventures together, Pancho cherished every moment spent with those he loved.

Outside of work and family life, Pancho enjoyed two important hobbies: fishing and cooking. The tranquility he found while casting a line into the water was unmatched. It was during these moments that he could connect with nature and find solace within himself. And when it came to cooking delicious meals for his family, Pancho's talent knew no bounds. His culinary creations will forever be remembered as a tangible expression of his love and care.

Baseball also held a special place in Pancho's heart. For over three decades, he selflessly served as a baseball coach to countless aspiring athletes in his community. Through his patient guidance and mentorship, he instilled not only sports skills but also important values such as teamwork, dedication, and sportsmanship. Pancho's impact as a coach extended far beyond the field. His influence shaped the lives of many young individuals who looked up to him with admiration and gratitude.

Pancho Garza will always be remembered as a compassionate and selfless man whose love knew no bounds. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, love, and kindness that will continue to inspire all those who had the privilege of knowing him. We bid farewell to Pancho with heavy hearts but also with immense gratitude for the beautiful moments he shared with us. May his soul find eternal peace, knowing that his impact on our lives will never fade away. Rest in peace, dear Pancho, knowing that you are loved and missed by all whose lives you touched.
