Florencio Cisneros

Florencio A. Cisneros, of Kingsville, TX passed away peacefully on February 26, 2022, at the age of 94.  Florencio proudly served his country in the Air Force during World War II; he served honorably and retired after 38 years with the US Army Depot in Corpus Christi as a Material Parts Supervisor.  Florencio’s experience in the military played a very important role in his life; he frequently pointed out that the Air Force taught him the value of discipline and hard work which is a trait that has been passed down to his generations. Florencio was a loving and dedicated husband, father, brother, and grandfather; and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Florencio was preceded in death by his wife, Flavia F. Cisneros; daughters; Irma Fondville and Norma L. Cisneros; parents; Donicio Cisneros and Josefina A. Cisneros.

Among those left to cherish his memory are his children, Ester E. Cisneros, Mario R. Cisneros (Dora), and Adan Cisneros all of Kingsville, TX; two brothers and one sister; 14 Grandchildren, 26 Great-Grandchildren and 5 Great-Great Grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family will receive condolences from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary; with a holy rosary to begin at 10:00 AM, followed by a liturgy.  Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Chamberlain Cemetery.
