Eva Arredondo

Eva Cortez Arredondo, of Kingsville, went to meet our Lord on August 4, 2018, at the age of 94. Eva was born to Manuel Cortez and Ramona Solis in Kingsville, TX, on April 23, 1924. Eva is preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband of 62 years, Apolonio Arredondo.
She is survived by her sister Ofelia Rodriguez; one son, Armando (Angelita) Arredondo; eight daughters, Apolonia Munoz, Adelfa (Darrell) DaFoe, Aminta (Jack) Perkins, Amalia (Ernest) Mass, Arcelia Navarro, Annabel Arredondo, Alma Alicia Glasgow and Armenia (Daniel) Morales. A beloved grandmother to 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and Tia Eva to numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Monday, August 6, 2018, from 5pm to 9pm at Turcotte Piper Mortuary with a rosary to be recited at 7:00pm that same evening. A mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 7, 2018, at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church at 12:00 noon. Interment will follow at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Turcotte Piper Mortuary.
