Esteban Gonzalez

Esteban Gonzalez, a dedicated house painter and beloved member of the Kingsville community, passed away on September 21, 2023. He was born on November 17, 1964, to Samuel, Jr. and Audelia Gonzalez.

Esteban had a fulfilling career working as a painter, bringing color and life to countless homes in the area. Known for his attention to detail and craftsmanship, he took great pride in his work. His skills and dedication were greatly appreciated by his clients and colleagues.

Outside of work, Esteban had a wide range of interests and hobbies. He was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys, always cheering them on during games. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and riding his motorcycle, finding solace in the open road and the peacefulness of nature. He also found joy in gardening and took great care of his mother's yard, fostering beautiful blooms that brought delight to those who saw them.

Esteban's commitment to community service was admirable. He selflessly volunteered his time to help better his community in various ways. One such endeavor involved feeding the homeless, providing nourishment and warmth to those in need. Additionally, he devoted himself to assisting the Boy Scouts by sharing his skills and knowledge with young scouts as they worked towards achieving their goals.

Esteban is preceded in death by his parents Samuel, Jr. and Audelia Gonzalez.

The loss of Esteban is deeply felt by those who knew him. He is survived by his children Stephanie (Lucas) Aguilar, Catharina Gonzalez, Monique (Joe) Adame, Michelle Lorraine Trevino, Richard Ray Perez; siblings Sylvia Gonzalez, San Juanita Villatorro, Maria Isabel (Kevin) Graham, Emilio Gonzalez, Samuel Gonzalez III., as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Services honoring Esteban's life will be held on September 29th at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary located at 205 General Cavazos Blvd, Kingsville, TX, 78363. The family will receive condolences beginning at 9:00 AM. The holy rosary will be recited following the condolences at 10:30 AM. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM. Finally, Esteban will be laid to rest at Santa Gertrudis Cemetery, 835 W Caesar Ave, Kingsville, TX 78363, during an Interment ceremony from 12:15 PM to 1:15 PM.

Esteban Gonzalez will be remembered as a skilled professional in his field, a compassionate community member who extended a helping hand to those in need, and a loving father and sibling. His presence and spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
