Esmeralda R.
Garcia
Feb 2, 1941 — Jun 2, 2026
Kingsville, Texas
Esmeralda R. Garcia, a devoted mother and a wonderful caregiver, passed away on June 2, 2026, in her beloved hometown of Kingsville, Texas. Born on February 2, 1941, in the very same city, Esmeralda lived a life filled with love, kindness, and unwavering dedication to those she cared for.
Esmeralda’s warmth and compassion were the hallmarks of her character. She was a woman who gave selflessly, always attending to everyone around her with tender care and a loving heart. Her family meant the world to her, and they were the proudest accomplishments of her life. She adored her children and extended family, nurturing them with endless love and devotion.
One of the most cherished memories of Esmeralda is the joy she found in cooking, often creating meals while music played in the background. This filled her home with comfort and happiness, leaving a lasting impression on all who gathered around her table. Her love for music, family gatherings, and caring for those around her defined not only her interests but also the essence of her spirit.
For many years, Esmeralda devoted herself to caring for others as a nanny and housekeeper, a role that reflected her compassionate heart and strong work ethic. Later in life, she dedicated that same love and devotion to her family, whom she cherished above all else. She also found great comfort and companionship in her beloved fur babies, who brought her endless joy and were treasured members of her family.
Preceded in death are her parents, Cresencio Z. Garcia and Aurora R. Garcia; and her four sisters, Ydolina R. Garcia, Josefine Garcia Gonzalez, Consuelo Robles Garcia, and Anita R. Garcia.
Survived by her three biological sons, Arturo G. Adrian Jr., Cresencio G. Perez, and Benjamin Ricardo Gonzalez. After the passing of her sisters, Esmerlada stepped into the role of caregiver and mother figure to her nieces and nephews, whom are Pete Cavazos Jr., the late Lorenzo Cavazos, Jose Rene Cavazos, Erika Cavazos Gomez, and Adriana C. Salinas; and her two biological grandchildren, Frances E. Gonzalez (Ben) and Cresencio Perez Jr. (Chris); including her numerous nieces and nephews.
Esmeralda’s presence brought warmth and joy to her community, and her passing leaves a profound emptiness in the hearts of those who knew her. To honor her memory, a viewing will be held on June 9, 2026, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, located at 205 General Cavazos Blvd, Kingsville, TX 78363. Following the viewing, a funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m.
Though Esmeralda has departed, her loving spirit remains woven into the fabric of the lives she touched. Her legacy of care, warmth, and family devotion will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her. In remembering Esmeralda R. Garcia, we celebrate a life beautifully lived and a heart that truly embraced the meaning of love.
