Enedina Salazar

Enedina Garza Salazar, age 85, passed away peacefully at her home on January 16, 2023, in Kingsville, Texas.  She was born on December 20, 1937, in Rios, Texas to Severo and Margarita Garza.

Enedina was a cherished and loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  She was a devoted Catholic who always kept her family and friends in her prayers.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Arturo Davila Salazar; her son, Albert Garza Salazar; her grandson, Nickolas Salazar, and other family members.

Among those left to cherish her memory is her son, Arturo (Teri) Salazar of Newark, Ohio; daughter, Amanda Lee Benavides of Kingsville, Texas; grandchildren, AJ Benavides, Isaac Benavides, Alexandra Salazar, Zane Salazar, Dante Salazar, Jocelyn Salazar, Skylar Salazar and Taylor Crane and great grand- children.

The family will receive condolences on Thursday, January 19, 2023, at Turcotte Piper Mortuary, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM; with a holy rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, January 20, 2023, at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Resthaven Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the local Hospice.
