Elvia Vasquez

Elvia L. Vasquez, 74, passed away on October 28, 2018 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born on March 6, 1944 to Antonio and Maria Garcia Reyes. Elvia retired from Southwestern Bell after 30 years. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and loved friend. Her vibrant personality, love for family and friends is a lasting legacy that will live in our hearts forever. She will be missed dearly.
She is proceeded in death by her parents and two brothers; Roberto and Raul Reyes.
Elvia is survived by her daughter, LeAnn Vasquez; three grandchildren, Ileanna Hernandez, Anisa Guajardo and David Liscano; one great grandchild, Jaxon Cavazos; two brothers, Romeo (Yolanda) Reyes and Gilbert (Velma) Reyes; one sister, Gloria Cavazos; and one aunt, Maria R. Buitron.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel with Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Gertrude's Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Chamberlain Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary 205 General Cavazos Blvd. Kingsville, Texas.
