Eloisa Hernandez

Eloisa G. Hernandez, of Kingsville died on March 13, 2018. She was 83 years old. She was born on December 1, 1934 to the late Guadalupe and Maria Del Refugio Cortez Garcia. She was raised by her father, her beloved stepmother Francisca Soto, and her numerous sisters, especially the late Otilia Lopez. Eloisa was loved by those who knew her. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a homemaker who truly loved life and family. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, and dancing. She was a graceful, fashionista who was ahead of her time. She impressed people with her wit, style, and sharp sense of humor. She had a true know-how capability in life and a fighting spirit till the end.
She is preceded in death by her husband Ezequiel J. Hernandez, her brothers Alberto Garcia and Noe Garcia, as well as her sisters Timotea Ramirez, Agueda Hernandez, and Otilia Lopez.
She is survived by her sisters Amelia Murillo and Rebecca Cabrera (Leo); Daughter Lorraine Garza (Stephen); Son Leonel Garza (Melissa); Nephew David Lopez and grandchildren, Jacob Arispe, Joaquin Arispe, Vincent Garza, Sienna Cabrera, and Ryan Cabrera. She is also survived by numerous beloved nieces and nephews. Rosary will be recited on Friday, March 16, 2018 at 9:30 AM at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary. Service will begin at 10 AM, with burial following to the Santa Getrudis Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Pedro Lopez Jr., Leonel Garza, Lionel Cabrera Jr., Lionel Cabrera III, Stephen Arispe, and Jacob Arispe
