Obituary

In Loving Memory of Elizabeth B. Garcia.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Elizabeth B. Garcia, who passed away on October 16, 2026 at the age of 69, in Kingsville, Texas. She was born on October 15, 1957 in Kingsville, Texas to Pedro & Armandina Buitron.

Elizabeth lived a life centered around the people she loved most: her family. She was a caring daughter and sister, a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a proud grandmother. Throughout her life, she created a home filled with love, laughter, and lasting memories, leaving a special place in the hearts of all who knew her. To know Elizabeth was to love her. She had a vibrant spirit and a lively personality that brought energy, warmth, and joy to those around her. Her playful nature and wonderful sense of humor made her presence unforgettable, and she had a special way of making people laugh and turning ordinary moments into cherished memories.

Elizabeth loved being outdoors, and her nurturing nature came naturally, whether she was raising animals or caring for the people around her. She was always the first one ready to skin a deer after a hunt, but one of her favorite ways to relax was with a fishing pole in hand. A true jokester, she loved playing pranks and bringing laughter to everyone around her. Some of her happiest moments were spent in the kitchen during the holidays, cooking and baking for her family and creating traditions and memories that would be treasured for years to come.

Of all the blessings in her life, her grandchildren were her greatest joy. They held an especially precious place in her heart, and the love she had for them was deep and unwavering. Elizabeth cherished being present in their lives, celebrating their milestones, sharing in their everyday moments, and capturing memories through photographs and videos that she could hold close to her heart. The time she spent with her grandchildren was a reflection of the immense love she had for them and the importance she placed on family. Her laughter, vibrant spirit, playful personality, and unconditional love will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Though she will be deeply missed, the memories she created and the love she gave will remain a lasting part of her legacy.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Pedro Buitron and Armandina Buitron; and her brothers, Pete Buitron and Antonio Buitron.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Antonio B. Garcia; her sons, Antonio Garcia Jr and his wife, Veronica, Christopher Roger Garcia, and Emede Jose Garcia; her grandchildren, Estrella Marie Garcia and her fiancé, Destiny Gallardo, Aleesia Lynn Garcia, Ezme Inez Garcia, Anthony Jacob Garcia, and Liam Jose Garcia.; her former daughter-in-law, Annie Sendejo, the beloved mother of her grandchildren, who she loved dearly; her sister Armandina Rodriquez and her husband, Arnold, sister Nilda Garza and her husband, Roger, brother Eddie Buitron and his wife, Lori, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

The family will receive condolences on Friday, October 23, 2026, at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary in Kingsville, Texas from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Martin’s Catholic Church in Kingsville, Texas. Turcotte-Piper Mortuary will open up their doors at 8:00 a.m., with the funeral procession departing for the church at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow the Funeral Mass at Chamberlain Cemetery in Kingsville, Texas.

Serving as pallbearers in loving memory of Elizabeth are her nephews, Eddie B. Buitron, Mark Montalvo, Travis Buitron, and Christopher Garza, and her bonus sons, Raul Gomez and Luis Salinas.

Though Elizabeth is no longer with us, her love, memories, and the impact she made on those around her will live on forever.
