Eddie Smart
Eddie Ernest Smart, 79, passed away on October 6, 2019. He was born on May 8, 1940 in Kenedy, Texas to Eddie Lee and Lillie Mae Smart.
He was a retired firefighter for NAS Kingsville.
He was preceded in death by parents, Eddie Lee and Lillie Mae; sister Marjorie Knocke; and brother-in-law, W. E. Youngblood.
He is survived by his wife, Lula Belle Smart; daughters, Debra Smart, Lana (Raymond) Forbes; granddaughter, Harleigh Drew Forbes; brothers, Causey (Faye) Smart, John (Norma) Smart; brother-in-law, Henry Knocke; sisters, Lillian Youngblood, Beverly (Robert) Fossler; numerous nieces; and nephews.
Services are under the care of Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas 78363.
