Donald Roulo

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donald "Don" Roulo, who left us on September 13, 2025, in Corpus Christi, TX. Born on February 11, 1962, in Denver, Colorado, to Phillip Grant Roulo and Charlie Marie. His spirit will forever light up the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.

Don dedicated his life to serving others through various roles in his career, contributing his talents at Kingsville Laundry & Cleaners, Bob Big Boys, Pacific Railroad, Walgreens, and Ol' Girls Kitchen. Yet, it was not just his work that defined him; it was the kindness and warmth he shared with everyone around him. He was known for his loving and caring nature, always finding joy in the time he spent with friends and family.

Don’s love for animals was evident through his steadfast commitment to helping animal shelters, where he found his beloved dog. He adored his canine companion, reflecting the immense love he carried for all creatures, great and small. His love extended well beyond his human companions; Don was a gentle soul who welcomed all animals with open arms. Additionally, his appreciation for music and his passion for the beloved Star Wars films brought joy and connection to his life.

As a father, he loved his daughter, Jackie Roulo, whose presence filled his heart with pride and joy. He took great pride in his family, especially treasuring the moments he spent with his sister-in-law Rebecca Baker and his brother Michael Baker. The memories they created together remain a testament to the close-knit bonds that Don cherished.

Don is survived by his daughter, Jakie Rena Garcia; granddaughters, Angelina and Alicia Garcia; brother, Michael Baker and sister-in-law Rebecca Baker, and his dog Peanut.

Don's legacy will be honored during visitation and memorial services held at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary in Kingsville, TX. The visitation will occur from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM on September 22, 2025, followed by a memorial service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

As we remember Don, let us carry forward the values he instilled in us—kindness, compassion, and a deep love for family and animals. He touched so many lives, and his spirit will continue to resonate in the hearts of those he loved.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked to donate to the Kingsville Animal Control Shelter.
