Domitila Alvarado

Domitila "DEE" L. Alvarado, age 71, went to be with Our Lord on January 18, 2019, with her beloved family at her side. Dee, was born in Kingsville, TX to Jesus Alvarado and Angelita Loera Alvarado on September 10, 1947. She was born and raised in the Presbyterian Church and attended Gethsemane Presbyterian of Kingsville where she became, an Elder of the church. Dee was a very positive and motivated person in Christ and illuminated those feelings to others. She retired from Pasadena ISD as Head Custodian and became a caregiver in her past years, helping the elderly which she enjoyed doing. Dee never wore a watch because time was always on her side, she always had time for everyone. Her memories will be cherished forever by all who loved her.
She is survived by her brother, Joel Alvarado (Lupita) of Houston, TX; her sister-in-law, Magdalena "Maggie" Alvarado from Corpus Christi, Texas; numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary in Kingsville, TX from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. that same morning. Interment to follow at Chamberlain Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd. Kingsville, Texas 78363.
