David James Brumond, 53, of Kingsville, Texas, passed away peacefully on Saturday Jan. 4 2020, surrounded by family.
Dave was born in St. Paul MN to Hubert and Elaine Brumond on Dec. 31, 1966. He attended high school at North High in North St. Paul MN and graduated in 1985. Dave went to earn an Associates Degree at Lakewood Community College. After college Dave went on to serve in the United States Army.
Survived by his wife Carrie Brumond, sons, Joshua and Jacob Brumond. Also survived by a brother Jon (Nancy) Brumond, Stepmother Joyce Brumond, along with many loving family members.
Preceded in death by his Mother Elaine and Father Hubert.
Dave met the love of his life in April 1993 and were joined in marriage on Oct. 7th 1995. Dave and Carrie were blessed to have 24 years of marriage.
Dave was employed at Deluxe Corporation in Shoreview MN for over 20 years before leaving to work in Kingsville, Texas for the Department of Navy in the IT Department.
Memorial service will be held on Thursday Jan. 9th at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary in Kingsville, Texas. Family will be receiving guests at 1pm with a 2pm memorial service. There will be a celebration of life service to be held in Minnesota at a later date.
Dave embodied the word “Ohana”. His family was the center of his universe and he was the happiest when he was with Carrie and the boys. They shared many years of making wonderful family memories at Disney world.
Dave loved everything Disney, his fur babies and watching the Minnesota Twins.
Dave will be greatly missed by his family and friends both in Minnesota and Texas.
The family would like to thank the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston Texas for providing great care to Dave for the last 2 years, they would also like to thank New Century Hospice for the compassionate care that was given to Dave and family during his final days.
And a final Thank you to his “family” at NAS Kingsville Texas for all their loving support! Dave truly loved his job and all the great people he worked along side.
