Carol Richey

Carol Lee Richey, 85, of Arroyo City, Texas, died Sunday, April 12, 2020 at Christus Spohn Kleberg Hospital, surrounded by family. A native of Cameron County, she was the daughter of the late Elmer Lester and Audrey Walk.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Vance Richey, brother, Jimmy Walk, Grandsons, Trae Richey, Joshua Richey, Diego Herrera, and granddaughter Soleil Prilgrim.

Carol is survived by her four children, Debra Gillis (Danny) of Richmond, VA, Vance Richey (Sherry) of Bishop, TX, Arlene Beck (Edward) of Ricardo, TX, and David Richey (Denise) of Corpus Christi, TX, as well as thirteen grandchildren, thirty-three great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great- grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a wonderful family of friends.

Burial and services will occur at a later date and time in San Benito, Tx. The family requests donations to the Sunny Glen Children’s Home 2385 W. Expressway 83 San Benito, Tx 78586.
