Byron Clemmons

Byron L. Clemmons, age 94, went to be with our Lord on August 6, 2018. Byron was born on January 8, 1924 in Bishop, TX to Clyde C. Clemmons and Bertie B. Clemmons. Byron was a resident of Kingsville, TX. He was also a World War II Army Veteran and former owner of D&C Amusement Company Inc. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Byron is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Gladys, her son Olen Leon Atkison, and one brother Clyde C. Clemmons Jr. "Speck". He is survived by his family James Baugus and Sharon Pennington of Kingsville Texas, Gladys's son, Wesley Atkison (Ruby Faye) of Comfort Texas, and their children Brad (Kimberly) Atkison and Christi (Todd) Wright, and their grandchildren; Cameron and Alyssa Atkison, Dereck, Dane, and Dax Wright, Grandchildren; Julie and Emily Baugus, Great-Grandson, Brent Alegria.
Visitation will be held on August 8, 2018 at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held Thursday, August 9, 2018 at Turcotte-Piper Chapel at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Restland Bishop, Tx.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd. Kingsville, Texas
