Bobbie Vest

Bobbie Ruth Rogers Vest, our beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend, passed away on August 26, 2013 at the age of 84. She was born and lived most of her life in Kingsville, Texas. After graduating from high school, she starting working as a telephone operator at Southwestern Bell in Kingsville. She married Julian Vest in 1948 and they spent the next 53 years together until his passing in 2001.
Her family was her life and they will miss her terribly. They include her daughter, Sharron, and her partner Pat, her son, Julian and his wife, Wendy, her beloved grandson, Ryan, and his wife, Lisa along with their precious girls, Nela and Aria. They were the love of her life, and brought so much joy and laughter to her later years. No mother or grandmother was ever loved more than she.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 30, 2013 at TurcottePiper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas 78363.
