Billy Mack Wilson Sr., lovingly known as “Buddy” by all who knew him best, completed his earthly journey on May 15, 2026, at the age of 95. A man of humor, strength, and unwavering love for his family and friends, Buddy leaves behind a legacy filled with laughter, loyalty, and cherished memories.

Buddy was born on March 15, 1931, to Gladys and Oscar Harvie “O.H.” Wilson. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Emma Lee Wilson; his parents; his brother, Harvie Nolan Wilson; and his sisters, Ruby Lee, and Katherine Sue. As the last surviving member of his immediate family, Buddy would often jokingly say he was “the last of the Mohicans.”

Buddy’s greatest joy in life was his family. Those left to treasure his memory include his sons, Billy Mack Wilson Jr. and wife Denise, and Ronald Lee Wilson and wife Linda. He was a loving grandfather to Emily, Kaci, Hailey, and Brayden, and a proud great-grandfather to Kenna, Karsen, Kennedy, Braylynn, and Rhett. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews, many lifelong Naval buddies, bowling friends, and countless others who were blessed by his quick wit, handsome smile, warm heart, and unforgettable sense of humor.

Buddy lived a full and meaningful life, touching many through friendship, kindness, and laughter. Whether sharing stories, cracking jokes, or simply spending time with those he loved, he made every moment brighter for the people around him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

The family will receive condolences from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, May 22, 2026, at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at Turcotte-Pier Mortuary. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Skidmore Texas.
