Bette Adams

Bette Joan Adams, 87, passed away on May 31, 2020 in Kingsville, Texas. She was born on September 11, 1932 in Kingman, Arizona to Jesse and Ida Mae Hittson. Bette worked as a registered nurse for 40 years. In the 1960’s she worked in the delivery room at the old Kleberg hospital. She also worked at Brooks County Hospital in Falfurrias, Texas until it closed. She was a lifelong member of St. Gertrude Catholic Church and served with the Altar Society.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clifton E. Adams; daughter, Jeri Beth Munson; and her brother, Ward “Donnie” Hittson.

Bette is survived by her daughters, Marye Goad (Gregory) and Sandra M. Cantu; one son, Alvin Munson (Genie); 14 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandson.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 5, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Chamberlain Cemetery in Kingsville, Texas.
