Benito Garcia, Sr.

Benito Garcia Sr., 77, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2019 in Kingsville, Texas. He was born on September 8, 1941, in Kingsville, Texas to the late Domingo and Librada Garcia.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Pabla Rodriguez, Celia Valdez; and brother, Bobby Garcia.
He retired from Texas A&I University where he worked as a cook and then a maintenance man for over 30 years.
He is survived by his wife whom he affectionately called Baby Doll, Juanita Silva Garcia; children, Benito Jr. (Josie) Garcia, Sandra "Cindy" (Ricky) Salinas, Deborah (Javier) Avila; stepchildren, Elizabeth (Jose) Huerta, Noemi (Carlos) Trevino, Daniel Lopez, Ismael Lopez, Lulu Maria (David) Williams; brothers and sisters, Emilio (Gloria) Garcia, Rebecca G. Olivarez, Oralia (Lupe) Gonzalez, Rosa Elida (Juan) Guajardo, Domingo (Anna) Garcia, Jr., Abel (Gregoria) Garcia, Eva Gonzales, Danny (Nora) Garcia, numerous grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren, several nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 9 from 4 to 8 PM at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary in Kingsville. Funeral Service will be on Friday, May 10, 2019 at 10 AM at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 206 General Cavazos Blvd, Kingsville, Texas, 78363.
