Antonia Narvaez, age 85, passed away unexpectedly on June 21, 2026. She was born on May 22, 1941, in Nueva Rosita, Coahuila, Mexico.
Antonia will be remembered for her kind and loving heart, her gentle voice, and her unwavering support of those around her. She was a giving woman whose warmth, compassion, and dedication to her family touched the lives of everyone who knew her.
A talented seamstress, Antonia worked for many years at Glen Oaks in Dallas, Texas, where she eventually retired. She had a remarkable gift for sewing and often created beautiful clothing, sometimes using newspaper patterns as the foundation for her work. Her creativity, resourcefulness, and strong work ethic were qualities admired by family and friends alike.
Family was the center of Antonia's life. She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion that will continue through the generations she cherished so deeply.
Antonia is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years, Pedro Narvaez; her sons, Luis Narvaez (Patricia) and Rogelio Narvaez; and her daughters, Guadalupe Simien, Silvia Narvaez, and Norma Solis (Federico). She is also survived by her grandsons, Samuel Garza, Christian Garza, Justin Narvaez, Noah Narvaez, Federico Solis III, and John Wayne Simien Jr.; her granddaughters, Amanda Solis, Victoria Garza, and Anna Maurilia Simien; as well as her two great-grandsons, Samuel Garza, Jr. and Gracen Dempster; and two great-granddaughters, Alexis Garza and Lucia Narvaez.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude for the many expressions of sympathy and support. To allow for an intimate time of remembrance, funeral services and viewing will be private. The family appreciates your understanding and continued prayers as they celebrate Antonia's life and cherish her memory.
Though she will be deeply missed, Antonia's love, kindness, and gentle spirit will remain forever in the hearts of her family and all who were blessed to know her.
