Amparo Quintanilla

Amparo R. Quintanilla passed away on September 22, 2020 in Kingsville, Texas. She was born on January 3, 1936 in Kingsville, Texas to Cecilio Lazo and Zoila Ruiz.

She is joined in death by her husband, Benjamin G. Quintanilla. She is preceded in death by her parents, Cecilio Lazo and Zoila Ruiz; and son, David Quintanilla.

Amparo is survived by her children, Norma Q. Munoz, Noe Quintanilla, Eloy Quintanilla, Benjamin Quintanilla, Jr.; sister, Juanita Lara; brother, Cecilio Ruiz, Jr.; sister, Elena Ruiz; brother, Leonardo Ruiz, 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Drive Thru Visitation will be held Friday, September 25, 2020 from 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm with a private Rosary to be recited via livestream at 7:00 pm. A private Funeral Mass will be held via livestream at 10:00 am, Saturday 26, 2020.
