Alicia Udelia Silva

Alicia Udelia Silva, beloved sister and aunt, passed away on December 12, 2025, at the age of 83. Born on July 17, 1942, she was born and raised at the historic King Ranch – Laureles Division, where she developed a steady spirit and strong sense of family.

She cared deeply for her loved ones and was always checking in on them, offering help and support in any way she could. Her determined nature was balanced by a kind and caring heart, and she was a constant source of love and reassurance to those around her. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered, leaving behind a lasting legacy of love and devotion to her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Carmen (Adame) Silva; siblings, Juan A. Silva, Jr., Raul Silva, Ventura Quintanilla, Pedro Silva, Benita Elizondo, Elida Quintanilla, Barbara Elizondo, Emma Silva Green, Roberto A. Silva, and Herlinda Silva Quintanilla.

Among those left to cherish her memory are her sister, Maria (Johnathan) Reilly; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family will receive condolences from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary; with a holy rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 19, 2025, at St. Gertrude Catholic Church. Immediately following mass, Alicia will be laid to rest at Laureles Cemetery, King Ranch – Laureles Division.
