Roberta Dene “Tody” Tiffee, 89, passed away on January 2, 2019 in Kingsville, Texas. She was born on June 25, 1929 to Robert Albert Pustka and Burnis Hardin. Roberta graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree from Texas A&I in 1950, and later graduated with her Master’s Degree in Bilingual Education in 1976. She taught elementary education for 40 years, beginning her career in Falfurrias, Texas for 2 years and then 38 years with the Kingsville Independent School District. She was also a member of the Elks Lodge Ladies Auxiliary in Kingsville, Texas.
She is preceded in death by both her parents, and her husband of 43 years, William Charlie “Bill” Tiffee.
She leaves behind her son, Billy (Debbie) Tiffee of Kingsville, Texas; daughter, Terri (Ronnie) Hower of Corpus Christi, Tx; and twin sister, Loretta Gene Koch of Kingsville, Tx; 5 granddaughters, Brooke (Mike) Solomon of La Gloria, Tx, Tiffany (Michael) Wood of Corpus Christi, Tx, Lacey (Josh) Avalos of Corpus Christi, Tx, Chelsea Hower of Corpus Christi, Tx, Jessica (Douglas) Hester of New Braunfels, Tx; one grandson, Tommy Tiffee of Bluntzer, Tx; 11 great grandchildren, Mika, Tairah, Mackenzie, Kylie, Cason, Taryn, Nathan, Travis, Kiya, Hunter, and Tristan; and 7 nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, January 6, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. A reception will follow at the Elks Lodge, 1404 S. 6th St. Kingsville, Texas.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas 78363.
