My deepest sympathy is extended to the Maldonado family and to Cata’s King Ranch family. She was barely out of high school when I met her. She was a classic beauty, dedicated to her job, family and friends. Condolences to the Maldonado family on the loss of Cata’s mother, Dora (who made the best tamales I’ve ever eaten), and her aunt, Alicia. These three special ladies will always be remembered.
