Rozena (Rosie) B. Lanford Boyer passed away peacefully on Christmas Eve, 2017 at the age of 92. She was born on February 2, 1925 in Mangum, Oklahoma. Her family moved to Texas during the Dust Bowl era where she met and married the love of her life, Calvin L. Boyer. The Lanford family history will be carried on by the Daughters of the Six Sisters (DOTTS). Rozena spent her last weeks warmed by the Lanford Quilt. Each patch was stitched by her mother in 1955 and pieced together by her sister, Bernice Harvey and niece, Patricia Smith, in 1996.

It was family that brought Rozena the greatest happiness in this life.
