Wash Frank Thomas, age 93, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Saturday, October 14, 2017 in Kingsville. He was born August 10, 1924 in Tomball, Texas to Ollie Wren Thomas and Emma Lee Collins Thomas. Mr. Thomas was employed for Exxon Corporation for 40 years until his retirement. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and Chamberlain Masonic Lodge #913. Mr. Thomas was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Neila Jo Thomas.
Mr. Thomas is survived by one daughter, Frankie Payton of Kingsville; one son, Ronald Spencer Thomas of Jourdanton, Texas; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Chamberlain Cemetery with military honors provided by the Veterans of Kleberg County Funeral Military Detail and followed by Masonic Services.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.

    My sincerest condolences... Mr Thomas will be greatly missed by so many here at the nursing home... going down the hallway this afternoon was not the same without him there...
